Concert review: Bloodred Hourglass & Luna Kills, FZW Dortmund, 22 October 2025
Back in the days before Spotify was turned into a shitty AI-run platform with pretty weak algorithms, I used to find some really good music through mixtapes. One of the bands I’ve discovered this way is Bloodred Hourglass. After seeing them live as opener for The Halo Effect in January I was more than excited when they announced a headline tour. I went to see them at FZW Dortmund (which is a pretty amazing venue!) and here’s how it was.

For me personally, an Oceans headline tour was long overdue. Their music means a lot to me and so I was more than happy when they finally announced their first headline tour. I went to one of the earlier dates of the tour, at Rockpalast in Bochum, and here’s how it was.

News from Bloodred Hourglass: The Finnish Melodic Death Metal band finally announced the special guests for their upcoming European tour this autumn. They will be joined by the Finnish Modern Metal band Luna Kills. After supporting The Halo Effect on their tour in January, Bloodred Hourglass return as headliners this time – with a new album. Concert review: Finntroll, Metsatöll & Suotana, Turock Essen, 27 April 2024
Finally a review that doesn’t take me ages to write it down, yay. Last night we went to Essen to see Finntroll, who have been one of my favourite bands since I was around 13 or 14 years old. And since I don’t have any photos to edit this time and I have a short break between my work right now, I can take the time to write this little concert review.
