I’ve planned to write this album review for way too long, but never found the time to do it. I know that by now it’s pretty pointless, as the album’s been out for way too long, but I don’t care because I’m listening to it right now and I have feelings about it that I need to put them into words. Album review: Eluveitie – ÀNV
It took me a while to finally find the time to review this album, but here we go. I could not not review it, as Eluveitie’s been one of my favourite bands since … I don’t know, 2008 at least. I was waiting for this album with mixed feelings – excitement on the one hand, but also a little worried. Strictly spoken, this is not an album, just an EP – but I don’t care. This EP has been one of my most awaited EPs this year (maybe not only this year, I’ve been waiting for this since Abyss Pt I was published). And it was worth the wait.

Album review: Blind Channel – EXIT EMOTIONS
Here we are with another long awaited pre-order. Blind Channel are more or less my number 1 favourite band since I discovered them through Eurovision 2021 (funny – when I checked out Dark Side beforehand, I called them a cute lil copy of Linkin Park that wouldn’t make it into the final. Album review: ILLUMISHADE – Another Side Of You
I pre-ordered three albums so far for 2024- and all of them were (or still are) highly awaited. ILLUMISHADE’s second album „Another Side Of You“ was one of them. As an expression of how much awaited this album was, let me tell you that I ordered it twice. Yes. Exactly. We got two copies of this album – first we ordered the CD (in a bundle with a t-shirt) and then about a week before the album came out, ILLUMISHADE mentioned in a video that the vinyl has bonus tracks. Album review: Fiddler’s Green – The Green Machine
Happy new year I guess. It’s been a while and I wanted to publish this review much earlier, especially given that the CD was in my post box a week before the album was actually published. But first there were Christmas holidays, then were exams to mark and now I’m back to work. I didn’t even manage to finish my 2023 recaps, but who cares – let’s start 2024 with this review.

Album review: Versengold – Lautes Gedenken
On Friday, the German folk rock band Versengold published their new album "Lautes Gedenken". It marks their 20 year anniversary as a band and hence includes a song celebrating that exactly. I've seen them at the MPS in Bückeburg this year and it was amazing, And it gave me somewhat of a headstart for their new album, which I'll talk about here.
